Photo: Christina BahouChristina Bahou was born and raised in Amman, Jordan and wanted the full American university experience. Throughout her university search, Syracuse University stood out for its perfect balance of great academics and a well-rounded social life.

She is pursuing a degree in architecture with a minor in entrepreneurship and emerging enterprises. Christina is excited about an opportunity to follow her passion and continue with design, while expanding her education in ways she had not considered before. In her free time, she likes to organize events, get involved student life, dance, paint, race cars, and go to Syracuse basketball games.

“My favorite memories so far include meeting amazing people and creating lifelong relationships with people from all around the world with different backgrounds and cultures”, she says. “I’ll never forget watching the last Syracuse-Duke basketball game and scoring the winning point in the last second of the game. The crowd went wild – it was an unbelievable experience.”

After graduation, Christina plans on working in the US for a few years and then relocating to the Middle East to expand and develop it further.

To incoming students, Christina says, “Come with high expectations, because they’re going to be met. Syracuse is going to be the best four years of your life – no one does it better than Syracuse students.”
