Mehak Saroha ‘21

Mehak was born in India and moved to Dubai where she grew up and finished her high school education. She had a dream to study architecture in New York and quite quickly Syracuse University became her dream school. “I came to SU because I believed it was where I’d find the best architecture education. I’ve had countless opportunities since then. I was a former peer advisor for the School of Architecture.”

Mehak is currently an ambassador for MENAT Students. She loves to meet and give tours to incoming freshmen. “I still remember how nervous I was at the start of my freshman semester but because of the warm welcome of SU staff, students and professors, I easily felt at home,” she says.

After graduation, Mehak hopes to become a practicing architect at a top architecture firm. Her advice to new SU students: “Enjoy every moment at SU and try be more involved.”
