Reda Raad, ’95

COO, TBWA/Raad

Reda Raad serves as chair of the regional council, the University's first regional council outside of the U.S. He earned a degree in advertising and marketing management from SU’s prestigious Whitman School of Management in 1995. Raad currently resides in Dubai where he is COO of TBWA/Raad. TBWA is a world-renowned advertising and marketing agency network made up of 258 full-service agencies internationally. During his 15 years of advertising and communications experience in the Middle East, he has worked with major brands, including Nissan, Axiom, Rothmans of Pall Mall International, Emirates Airlines, Etihad Airlines, Virgin Megastore, Tag Heuer and CNN.

Raad is a generous and loyal supporter of Syracuse University. As chair of the MENAT RC, he is working to build on momentum achieved by SU staff in the region. He sees alumni relations as a primary function of the MENAT Regional Council and integral to success in both prospective student recruitment and the development of valuable real-world educational opportunities in the region, such as internships and work-study programs.
